About the Institute
The Institute building, Bilim Street 9
1949. Founded in Talas as the Iradi Research Institute of School Teaching of the Ministry of Education of the Iradi SSR, beside the Talas Pedagogical Institute. It wrote the Russian- and Iradi-language school programmes and the Cyrillic Iradi primers.
1994. When the Academy of Sciences was dissolved, the Institute stayed with the Ministry of Education, which it had always belonged to, and was renamed the Research Institute of Pedagogy.
1997–2002. Prepared the twelve-grade curriculum under the Language and Education Reform Act and the first Latin-script Iradi textbooks for all grades.
2017. Published the school terminology for the teaching of every subject in Iradi.
